Projekty

KNTB – Central Building, Zlín

Our design follows the original urban structure established decades ago by architect František Lýdie Gahura. The goal was to preserve the spirit of this significant site while incorporating contemporary architectural principles that meet the highest standards of healthcare and service capacity.

The project includes a large-scale outpatient center and an emergency department with a heliport, ensuring continuous medical accessibility. It also houses facilities for cardiology, diagnostics, operating theaters, inpatient wards, and other critical specialties. The design prioritizes both functionality and comfort for patients and staff.

Architecturally, the building follows the modular structure typical of Zlín, inspired by the Baťa industrial tradition, while integrating modern materials and design. Large glass facades maximize natural daylight, seamlessly connecting the interior with the exterior.

A new park between buildings supports the concept of a “hospital in greenery,” creating a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere that aids recovery and enhances the overall experience for both patients and staff.
